For more information see the right fit.

For our Pre-Walker collection, we recommend around 10 mm of growing room. At this stage, babies are pulling up, cruising and taking their first steps, so balancing room for growth with a secure fit is particularly important.

For our First Walker collection, we recommend 8–12 mm of growing room, providing enough space for healthy growth while helping to keep the foot secure and well-positioned within the shoe.

The foot length ranges shown in our size guide represent suggested minimum and maximum foot lengths for each size.

  • The minimum foot length provides the greatest amount of growing room we recommend while maintaining a secure and confident fit.
  • The maximum foot length is the point at which we recommend moving into the next size to ensure there is still sufficient room for healthy foot growth.

If your child's measurement falls towards the lower end of the range, they'll have a little more room to grow. If they're towards the upper end, the shoes should still fit well, but they're likely to need the next size sooner.

If the shoes feels a bit roomy or you see their heel slip out, using a slightly thicker sock for a time to reduce excess volume can help if you want to maximise time in the shoe.
